The 6th Sea of Galilee International Choir Festival
January 29,30,31 2026 - The Jordan Valley, Israel.
The Sea of Galilee International Choir Festival is a non-competitive event that takes place in the Jordan valley in the north of Israel annually, during the last week of January.
The festival takes place in a beautiful area – in the enchanting landscape of the Sea of Galilee in the north of Israel, where many holy, historical sites are. Hundreds of singers from Israel and around the world are warmly invited to celebrate a long weekend of fine choir music, with choirs and vocal ensembles from various nations around the world, and to meet the best choirs and conductors from Israel. Gather together for an enriching and rewarding musical and social experience.
The Festival offers a wide choice of concerts in theatres, concert halls and churches around the Sea of Galilee, where each choir can perform up to 3 performances during the festival.
The repertoire is absolutely free, no particular songs have to be performed.
The variety of venues selected for the performances, the events and the rich repertoire turn this Festival into a unique opportunity for mutual exchange between different musical cultures.
